…that I started a general-purpose blog. I have no excuse for missing the first (and probably second) wave of personal/political blogs. I read blogs, I write for other blogs, it’s time I got a home base. This is it. It will have links to my blogs from my day job at Family PlanIt as well as my columns and new consistantly-updated content. This blog will focus on whatever I’m thinking/working on in an average day, which means a lot of national politics, reproductive health policy, literature and social theory. The name of the blog comes from a Pew study that found 24 percent of Americans read blogs. That’s the kind of percentage that reflects a real turning point in the way we recieve media that’s happened since I’ve been old enough to be aware of it. There’s no excuse not to be on it.
